Castleton, Yorkshire
As a northern lass growing up in South Yorkshire, Castleton was the place to go for a year 6 geography trip, the first time i visited the broken road was on said trip. I returned one snowy January with a couple pals for a hike, with my Nikon F3 and a roll of black and white Ilford. I cherish this revisit and the images created, the history of the road shown clear through the monochrome, with a stranger held above. What is always hidden can be seen.
